Miracle Eaglets Bounce Back; JKL, Pearls Queens Claim Wins in NBL

Miracle Eaglets bounced back from their loss to Nabisunsa with a composed 57–43 victory over Angels Basketball Club on Wednesday night in the 2026 National Basketball League at RezLife Court in Lubowa.

Marion Anyanzwa opened the scoring with a three-pointer for the Eaglets, but Lina Koul Khor responded quickly for Angels. The opening quarter was tight and defensive, with Angels controlling the tempo to take a 12–8 lead after limiting the Eaglets to just eight points.

The Arnold Katabi-coached side regrouped in the second quarter, moving the ball more effectively and tightening up defensively to hold Angels to only six points. Caroline Nakato found her rhythm during the stretch, spearheading a decisive run that handed the Eaglets a 12-point halftime cushion.

The third quarter ended evenly at 15–15 as Angels attempted a comeback, but the Eaglets remained composed. Nakato later drained a crucial three-pointer to halt the momentum shift, while Isabella Namugabo provided steady support to keep the contest under control.

Nakato finished with a game-high 17 points, while Namugabo added 11. For Angels, Joan Namatovu scored 11 points, the only player on her team to reach double figures.
