KCCA confirms Jackson Magera as interim head coach

Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC has officially appointed Jackson Magera Kaddu as their interim head coach.
The announcement was made through a statement released by the club on Friday, April 11, 2025, via its official website.
“The club hereby announces the immediate appointment of assistant coach Jackson Magera Kaddu as interim head coach,” the statement read in part.
Magera steps in to replace Abdallah Mubiru, who has mutually agreed to part ways with the club, according to the same statement.
In a related development, KCCA has also confirmed the departure of assistant coach Kefa Kisala as part of ongoing structural changes at the club.
Currently, the Kasasiro Boys sit sixth on the 16-team table, with 34 points from 22 matches played.
Magera’s first task will be a challenging one as he leads his side against third-placed BUL FC in a Uganda Premier League clash scheduled for Saturday, April 12.
