He’s BACK! Cristiano Ronaldo completes sensational Man Utd return
Manchester United have announced that have have agreed a deal with Juventus to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo in one of most stunning deals of all time.
The Portugal international left the club in 2008 to join Real Madrid, before moving to Italy and Juventus three years ago.
But he’s now set to return at Old Trafford, signing a two-year deal to return after a fee of £25 million was reportedly agreed between the clubs.
“Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical,” read a club statement.
Ronaldo had made it clear in recent weeks that he was keen to leave the Bianconeri and although Manchester City also expressed an interest in his signature, he has instead opted for a shock United comeback.
In his first spell at the club, he scored 118 goals in all competitions and won nine trophies, including three Premier League titles and a Champions League crown.
