UNF UNVEIL U21 SQUAD AFTER A TAG OF WAR WITH JOURNALISTS

Uganda Netball Federation (UNF) continues to prove that it’s among the most disorganized sports federations in Uganda with the unprofessionalism acts exhibited by the top officials while unveiling the provisional squad for U21 Youth World Cup qualifier.

The federation had to unveil the names of 42 players who entered none residential training on Monday, but in the press conference held at Lugogo on Thursday 16th January 2020, the Federation first refused to release the names before the cameras until the fourth Estate hardly squeezed Vice President William Bwambale to the dot at least to reveal the list of the available players.

Via the exchange of bitter words between federation officials and Journalists, the Federation bowed to pressure after journalists refused to take group photos and interviews of the officials and finally released the list of 20 players out of the possible 42 players who must be in camp.
