UNDER 21 NETBALL TEAM START PREPS FOR WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS

30 netball under 21 girls are in camp ahead of the Africa netball world cup qualifiers.
players in camp are from the best netball schools in Uganda and are to train for 3 months.
Uganda was chosen to host the tournament that starts 4th May at the MTN arena in Lugogo.

Uganda netball federatuon kick starts its 2020 calender year with preparations to host the under 21 Word cup qualifiers.
12 countries will be in Uganda frm 4th May to 10 competing to have three countries qualify from Africa.
South Africa and Zambia have of recently dominated Netball, but however Uganda is pushing hard and ranked among the best in the game.

Three years back when the tournament was hosted in Batswana, Uganda finished third overall only to make eighth position in the final games a result that wasnt well apreciated.

Now 30 players have been summmoned in earnest, to under go training for four months before selecting the final 18 players to compete.

The selection was made from the best four netball schools tht is St Mary Kitende, Standard high Zanna, Kings college Budo and Masaka SS are representing.

2019 was a fair year for the netball team fedration, competing at the netball world cup finishing 7th in Liverpool England an improvement from the previous edition in 2015 in Sydney.
