Uganda's government has stated that the country remains safe for travellers despite the ongoing Ebola outbreak

According to reporting by Daily Monitor, Uganda has recorded additional Ebola infections, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 15. Authorities also report that one death has occurred so far as a result of the outbreak.
Government officials have said that public health measures are in place to manage the situation. These measures are intended to help control the spread of the disease and to protect both residents and visitors within the country.
Health authorities continue to monitor the outbreak closely. They are also maintaining disease-control and response efforts as new cases are identified.
