Uganda Shaken by the Power of God: Over 1.7 Million Gather for Benny Hinn Crusade
It was more than a meeting. It was more than an event. It was a moment in history

From June 27th to June 30th, 2025, the grounds of Miracle Centre Cathedral, Rubaga, became the heartbeat of Uganda. Evangelist Benny Hinn, one of the world’s most recognized ministers of the Gospel, stood side by side with Pastor Robert Kayanja to usher in days that Ugandans will never forget.
The Sea of People
Imagine standing on a hill and looking down at a valley filled with people as far as your eyes can see. Men, women, children, the young and the old—over 1.7 million people came in person. They came walking, on bodas, in buses, and cars, from every corner of Uganda and even beyond—Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Congo, and as far as Ethiopia.
But that was not all. Through Channel 44 Television and Benny Hinn Ministries’ global broadcast, over 1 million more joined in from their homes. For four nights, Uganda became the stage where the world tuned in to see what God was doing.
What It Felt Like
If you were not there, picture this:
-
The choir’s voices rose like thunder, thousands singing as one.
-
The crowds lifted their hands, a sea of worshippers swaying under the evening sky.
-
Every word Pastor Benny spoke echoed through the air, and every prayer carried weight.
-
People wept, shouted, and fell to their knees as miracles broke out—testimonies of healing, deliverance, and salvation.
In that atmosphere, thousands ran forward to give their lives to Christ. Within days, over 22,000 were baptized at Miracle Centre.
The Nation Responds
Even Uganda’s leaders could not ignore what was happening. President Yoweri Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni welcomed Pastor Benny Hinn at State Lodge, Nakasero. They spoke about faith, about Uganda’s future, and about God’s hand on the nation and also gave in their latest presidential car for Pastor Benny Hinn to move.
A Prophetic Word for Uganda
In one of the most powerful moments of the crusade, Pastor Benny Hinn turned to Pastor Robert Kayanja and said:
“From now on, it will be you who decides when and where these crusades will happen in Africa.”
Those words sent a wave of expectation through the crowd. Uganda, Pastor Benny declared, is not just receiving revival—it is carrying revival for Africa and the world.
Beyond Uganda
The fire lit in Kampala is not staying here. Pastor Benny Hinn and Ministries announced upcoming crusades in nations such as Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Ghana, DR. Congo. But Uganda has been singled out as a center of revival, a light that will shine to the nations.
Why It Matters
If you did not attend, you may be wondering, “What did I miss?” You missed history. You missed a gathering where the sheer size of the crowd proved the hunger for God. You missed the songs that filled the night air, the prayers that shook the ground, and the miracles that left people crying tears of joy.
But it’s not too late. The crusade was not just an event—it was the beginning of something bigger. Churches across Uganda are already seeing revival. Young people are turning to God. Families are coming together in prayer. Communities are being changed.
And through Channel 44 Television, you can still be part of it. Because what started at Rubaga is still burning, and it is spreading across the world.
Uganda has become a testimony that indeed—miracles still happen.
Voices from the Crowd
KAMPALA – If you ask anyone who was there, the stories will move you to tears.
-
Sarah from Gulu: “I had pain in my back for over 7 years. When Pastor Benny prayed, I felt fire in my body, and suddenly I could bend and walk freely. I am healed!”
-
James, a university student from Mbale: “I was far from God, but that night I felt His love. I ran to the altar with tears. Now I am born again and I will never look back.”
-
Mama Aisha from Jinja: “I came with my son who could not speak clearly. During prayer, he started speaking words he had never spoken before. I cried and thanked God.”
These were just a few among the thousands of testimonies pouring in. People left the crusade not just with memories, but with miracles.
The Global Eye
The crusade was not only Uganda’s moment—it was the world’s moment.
Through Channel 44 Television and Benny Hinn Ministries’ live streams, over 1 million viewers tuned in from across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
For days, hashtags like #UgandaRevival2025 and #BennyHinnUganda trended on social media.
After the Crusade
The fire keeps burning.
-
Baptisms: Over 22,000 people were baptized in the days after the crusade at Lake Miracle Centre. Families went into the waters together, declaring their faith in Jesus.
-
Church Growth: Across Kampala, churches have reported higher attendance at prayer meetings and Sunday services. Youth fellowships are filling up with new faces.
-
Community Impact: Local leaders have noted a renewed sense of unity and peace in neighborhoods where crusade participants returned home with changed hearts.
Pastor Robert Kayanja, host of the crusade, shared: “This is only the beginning. Uganda has been positioned as a lighthouse for Africa, and we will carry this revival to the ends of the earth.”
What’s Next?
The crusade was not an ending—it was a launch pad. Pastor Benny Hinn announced upcoming crusades in:
-
Zimbabwe
-
Ethiopia
-
Ghana
But he also made a powerful declaration about Uganda:
“From now on, Pastor Robert Kayanja will be the one to decide when and where these crusades will be. God has chosen Uganda to carry this mantle of revival.”
This means Uganda is not just a participant in the move of God—it is a headquarters of revival.
A Call to You
If you missed the crusade, don’t feel left out. The move of God is still alive, and through Channel 44 Television you can continue to be part of it. Revival has no boundaries—it is flowing from Rubaga to your living room, from Uganda to the nations.
