UFL: “We Won’t Respect Busitema” UCU Skipper Were Emmanuel Derrick
Uganda Christian University skipper, Were Emmanuel Derrick asserted that they are not to respect Busitema in their return leg at UCU Mukono on Friday.
In first leg, UCU took the lion’s share when they thumped Busitema at their own courtyard by 5-1 and Busitema need a difference of five goals if they are to overturn the shame.
“we are not going to respect Busitema but not going to despise them, because the pressure is on our side reason being that people take us as the favorites I this tie.
We going to fight to our best and maintain our position and our goal is to reach finals.” Were Emmanuel Derrick and his coach kintu jimmy revealed this to media in the pre-match press briefing held at Kati Kati Restaurant Lugogo on Thursday morning.
Though they also see it as a mission impossible to overturn the dismay of first leg, Busitema captain, Yeku Grant and dorothy namugenyi said they still has a belief that anything can happen in soccer and they are going with a winning Mentality to Mukono.
This is the last quarter final of 2019 University football league 2019 edition and for only this time round after consecutive four times failing from Quarter final level, have an upper hand of 5-1 aggregate lead.
The winner of the tie on aggregate, will join UMU, St Lawrence University and Bugema University who eliminated the defending champion, Kyambogo University on a 3-2 aggregate score.
