There is hope for Karamoja — Pastor Kayanja

Miracle Centre Cathedral senior pastor Robert Kayanja has said the God of Uganda never fails and doesn’t disappoint.

Kayanja’s remarks come at a time when several critics told him that Karamoja is a semi-desert area and no food can grow there.

“Many people told us that, there is no food that will grow in Karamoja, all your efforts will be in vain at the end of the day,” Kayanja said while delivering his Christmas message to the believers.

He said when they launched the Karamoja Cry, well-wishers donated different food items, clothes and money, among others, to rescue people in Karamoja.

“When they told us that Karamoja has a little rain and the crops will dry up, we knew that God had plans for us. We got an irrigation system and for the whole of last week, it has been raining heavily in the region.

That’s why I keep on telling you that our God never fails and never disappoints,” Kayanja said.

He added that people in Karamoja are to also celebrate Christmas just like the rest of the people.

“We flagged off 1,000 chicken to Karamoja on Friday this week, nutritious food, sodas and many more items. We also bought 100 heads of cattle from the region that are going to be slaughtered for these people,” Kayanja added.

He also said before the end of the year, various people in Uganda will have received their miracles.
