The Anointing Gives Authority Over Enemies

“I have found David my servant; with my sacred oil, I have anointed him… I will crush his foes before him and strike down his adversaries.”

Psalm 89:20-23 reveals a powerful truth: He empowers them with divine authority over their enemies when God anoints someone. This authority is not just for kings like David but for everyone who receives the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

The Power of the Anointing

The anointing is a sacred empowerment from God that equips His people to fulfill their divine assignments. When God anointed David, it wasn’t just a ceremonial act but a declaration of divine backing and authority. The anointing brought protection, favor, and victory over his adversaries.

Just as God anointed David, He anoints us today through the Holy Spirit. This anointing gives us power over every form of opposition—whether it comes from physical challenges, spiritual battles, or emotional struggles. God promises to go before us, crush our foes, and bring down adversaries that rise against us.

The Anointing Brings Victory

When you carry the anointing, you no longer fight battles on your own. God Himself steps in to fight on your behalf. Look at how God assured David:

• “I will crush his foes before him.” This is a promise of total victory.
• “I will strike down his adversaries.” God doesn’t allow His anointed ones to be overcome by their enemies.

Whatever battle you are facing today, remember that the anointing gives you divine authority. Whether it’s sickness, financial struggles, or spiritual opposition, know that God is fighting for you. His anointing upon your life makes you unstoppable.

What Happens When You Get Born Again and Saved?

When you give your life to Jesus and get born again, everything changes. You become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). The old life of sin, defeat, and fear is gone, and a new life of victory, joy, and purpose begins. God anoints you with His Holy Spirit, giving you power to overcome every enemy. You are no longer alone; God is with you every step of the way.

The anointing gives you:

• Power over sin – You are no longer a slave to sinful habits.
• Authority over the enemy – Satan has no power over your life.
• Purpose in life – You are called to fulfill God’s mission.
