Nalukenge, Masembe, Alouch and Sam Simbwa Crowned January’s finest

Uganda’s U17 Women National team skipper and Crested Cranes forward Juliet Nalukenge wins January football player award from Real Star Sports Agency.

Nalukenge beat URA FC’s on form duo Saidi Kyeyune and Cromwell Rwothomio in tight contest. The awards were given out today, Monday the 17th February 2020 at Copper Chimney in Lugogo.

Heathens’ Scot Alouch beat club mate Joseph Oyet and Daudi Ssemwami of Kobs for the player of the month in rugby category.

Boxer Isaac Masembe beat David Ssemujju and Doreen Nassalia, all away to Senegal for Olympic Qualifiers to run away with January glory. Zebra Ssenyange “aka” Mando picked the award on the behalf of Masembe.

In the other category, Sam Simbwa of URA beat counterparts Paul Kiwanuka (Bright Stars) and Ayub Khalifah the Uganda’s U17 Women National team and Kawempe Muslim tactician to be crowned January’s finest.

URA FC’s Sam Simbwa has had a good wining run in January. Simbwa registered five wins in January and a draw against Tooro United.

His side (URA) won five games against SC Villa, Bright Stars, Bul FC, KCCA FC and Lugazi Municipal (Uganda Cup).

Sam Simbwa’s URA is yet to lose a game this year. The tax collectors have played 8 games, registered six wins and two draws this year.
