JBG Tournament Returns Bigger, Also Women At Uganda Golf Union Use Golf To Fight Cancer.

The 2019 edition of the JBG Golf open has been launched on Wednesday morning at the company’s offices in Kololo, Kampala.

This year’s edition will be special as the company will be celebrating 40 years in Uganda, with celebrations falling on the same dates with Oktoberfest ceremonies.

Marvin Kagoro, Captain of Entebbe golf club, speaking in a briefing, expressed his gratitude for the sustained support from JBG and added that he hopes for more years of working together with the Engineering company.

The 2019 edition of the JBG Golf open has been launched on Wednesday morning at the company’s offices in Kololo, Kampala.



This year’s edition will be special as the company will be celebrating 40 years in Uganda, with celebrations falling on the same dates with Oktoberfest ceremonies.

This year’s tourney will have three categories; Professionals with 33 already registered, gross players will tee off on Friday to Saturday while 200 amateurs will be considered.

The overall winners will walkaway with mugs and other golf playing equipment and a cash prize of Sh20M.

Meanwhile still in golf the ladies section under uganda golf club in conjuction with uganda women’s cancer support organisation have organised the 7th edition of cancer golf fundraising tournament aiming at collecting over 100m to support women with breast cancer.

It should be noted that the 2018 edition raise 44,220,000 million
