Friendly match will be a very good test for the girls – Ayub Khalifah crested cranes headcoach

As the U-17 women national team continues with their preparations of the inaugural edition of the U-17 COSAFA women tournament in Mauritius, head coach Ayub Khalifah believes that the first friendly against Kampala select on Wednesday will be a good test.“The girls are catching up very fast, thy’re energetic and Wednesday’s friendly will a very good test for the girls,” Ayub told channel 44tv.Ayub also commended the progress he has seen from his players thus far, and he hopes by the time the tournament kicks off, they will be much better.The U-17 women national team started their preparations on Sunday when the team entered camp at FUFA technical center, Njeru. And they are to play their first friendly against Kampala select. All the 30 summoned players are already in camp which will last 10 days, before they are trimmed to 20 players that will travel to Mauritius. The announcement for the final 20 players that will travel is expected on Wednesday after the Kampala select friendly. The team is expected to have the second friendly game on 15th which could be the last before departure to Mauritius.
