Clash Of The Generals’ Fight Launched, Ssebute Ready To Ramble

The long awaited professional fight for UPDF soldier finally booked a date in September 2019 and the fighter himself Copal Abdru Ssebute Confirmed his readiness for the clash.
The Clash of the Generals fight that had been rescheduled for two times, had finally booked Friday 27th in the month of September 2019 at MTN Arena Lugogo and Ssebute will be battling for the East and Central Africa Boxing Union Belt against Tanzanian fighter Swedi Muhamed in super light weight category.
While addressing media at the launch of the fight at Ministry of Defence head offices, Mbuya, Abdru Ssebute assured the public that he is ready to ramble and to take the bout of ten rounds.
Ssebute been in preparations for the same fight for more than three months as the fight kept on changing dates but the new promoters on board Nara promotions revealed that everything is set for the fight and nothing will change.
Abdru Ssebute who is preparing for the World Military games in China, so far on his record has so fights with five KOs.
The head of Sports department in UPDF, Captain John Mark Ssemanda said that they have big hopes in Ssebute, and they are preparing him for World Military games in China and his name among those submitted to get promotional ranks.
The event will also have other fights, and in cruiser weight (79kg) we shall witness Ntege Musa taking on Tanzania’s boxer Paul Kamatha as Waiswa Juma battling against John Sserunjogi in 75kg.
There are five under cards national titles.
