Benny Hinn: Many Christians today, do not read the Bible. In one of my meetings, I asked, ‘by the show of hands, how many of you have never read the whole Bible?’ 80% put their hands up. I tested it, in a Pastors meeting. 40% of preachers put their hands up saying they have not read the entire Bible. It matters that you read the genealogy.

You cannot neglect the knowledge of the word of God. Whether you understand it or not, read it and God will reveal it to you at the right moment, and at the right time.

You need to understand the depth of the Old Testament, and not to ignore books, that are maybe more difficult.



The earlier church had only the Old Testament, but think how strong they were in the Lord. …It is very very dangerous to ignore the Old Testament because God uses various types and shadows to reveal His son. You will not know Jesus if you only read the New Testament. You will not know the depth of the Lord by just reading the New Testament alone.
