Recently, the Australian government passed a law that prohibits children below the age of 16 years to possess social media accounts.
Once the law was passed, every account for whoever fit in that criteria was instantly deleted.
The purpose of this decision is to help protect kids’ mental health and fines up to AU$49.5M will be implemented for anyone who violates.
